What we’ve been doing March has been BUSY. The Revolutionary Club of Tidewater has been deepening ties with other local organizers and expanding their successful food program. The Broad Street Workers’ Club of Richmond has continued their fight against Richmond slumlords with the Richmond Tenants Union, shown up for the American Postal Workers Union on their March 20 day of action, and taught at Richmond Workers Assembly. NoVA’s Dangerfield Newby Club also joined the National Association of Letter Carriers in demanding HR70, and have been helping our several new comrades get connected to some good work.
What we’ve been reading and learning Our Education program has comrades discussing Intro to Political Philosophy for our new members, and our more seasoned comrades are discussing Material Analysis and Planning as well as Revolutionary Self-Care. We’re collectively reading State and Rev, Che’s Diarios, and World System’s Analysis.
What we’ve been writing We have two articles this month. First, NoVA’s Tim Dennis writes about both our involvement in and unwavering support for the Postal Service and its autonomy: USPS vs Privatization: Which Side Are You On? We’ve also been kicking around a lot of theoretical concepts in our chat, one of which we realized was of particular importance to us here in Virginia. Peter wrote up a great summary of why and how we support Virginian unions.

You may recognize some familiar articles, as both Emily’s Pro-Palestine work and Aloysius’ Richmond Tenant’s Union pieces were both picked up by national.
