Comrades Aloysius and Dionisio at the RVA March for Working Families.
What we’ve been doing The Revolutionary Club of Tidewater has continued their successful food program and are now joining up with the Tidewater DSA to expand their reach. The Broad Street Workers Club of Richmond has been hard at work with the Richmond Tenants Union, including attending the March for Working Families and protesting tenant abuses.
What we’ve been reading and learning In our education meetings, at our beginning classes we’ve been discussing Party history and introducing folks to Marxist philosophy. Our intermediate classes are exploring dialectical and historical materialism, while our advanced classes cover materialist analysis and central planning. In our clubs we read along with the 2025 National Marxist School Online and folks are reading World Systems Analysis, Che’s Diarios, and William Z Foster’s American Trade Unionism.
What we’ve been writing We have two articles out this month and many on the way! Our writers collective has been really active and we are excited to keep the momentum going this year. In February we highlighted the excellent work and first-of-many submissions from Dionisio Romo Guitierrez of the Broad Street Workers Club on the Richmond March for Working Families. We also had a Valentine’s Day post: A “cheat sheet” on avoiding burnout in the age of Trump and beyond… a love letter and zine for our fellow organizers.
Also check out our CPUSA comrades’ writing on important national and international issues. We are especially proud of our National co-Chair Joe Sims’ timely keynote to our National Committee: The right-wing billionaire grip on government must be broken. If you prefer video over text, check out our party’s series every Friday: Good Morning Revolution!
