What we’ve been doing
Tidewater: Check out their socials where you can keep up with their great work. This month they’ve continued their DeFLOCK Norfolk work and held their successful food program feeding folks experiencing houselessness.
NoVA has continued working with Reston Strong and deICE campaigns including ICE out of Loudon and ICE out of Alexandria coalitions.
Piedmont has continued working with RVA community fridges and supporting the Richmond Tenants Union.
What we’ve been reading
Our clubs have been reading How to Be a Good Communist, Wretched of the Earth, Red Star Over China, and Let This Radicalize You. In our education classes, we have discussed Vanguardism, Communism, Cadre Action, Dialectical and Historical Materialism, and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. We also sent folks to National’s excellent education series on Dialogue vs Manipulation.
What we’ve been writing
Comrade Jonathan wrote about Spanberger’s betrayal of the labor unions in Virginia for People’s World. Congrats to Jonathan for their first time contributing to People’s world! Learning to be a worker-correspondent is an important part of cadre development and we’re excited whenever a new comrade learns these skills.
